ATLANTA, GA, April 18, 2024 — Miller Zell reduced the landfill waste from its production facility by nearly 1,144 tons in 2023 — a 55% recycle rate — as we aim to divert at least 10,000 tons of landfill waste by 2030.
Further, in September of 2023, Miller Zell’s Bentonville print facility earned its first certification from the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership.
These are two of many sustainability practices and initiatives Miller Zell follows as we look to celebrate Earth Day on April 22.
“Miller Zell shares a substantive focus on sustainability goals with our clients and associates,” Miller Zell CEO Chip Miller said. “Reducing landfill waste and recycling are good for our planet, and they will remain fundamental parts of Miller Zell’s business practices.”
Birdley James, Miller Zell’s SGP/Employee Health & Wellness Coordinator and Compliance Manager, was elected to the SGP Board of Directors in 2021. He continues to capably lead our sustainability efforts.
