Miller Zell Appoints Two New Board Members

ATLANTA, Feb. 21, 2023 — Miller Zell is pleased to announce the election of two new members to our Board of Directors: Jennifer Dorris and Allison Moran. This brings the number of board members to six.

Moran, a former Chief Executive Officer of RaceTrac, was inducted into the Convenience Store Hall of Fame and was recognized by the industry as Retail Executive of the Year in 2017. In 2021, she partnered with her daughter, Jorie, and launched Wesley Interiors, a boutique residential design firm.

Dorris is the Chief Financial Officer at Vanco, a technology leader specializing in payment and donation processing and education administration software. It serves more than 40,000 customers in education, faith-based organizations, nonprofits and professional services markets.

Prior to Vanco, Dorris held senior positions at several private equity-backed, start-up ventures, serving as CEO of Ameriflight, President and CFO of Prommis Solutions, CFO of SmartMail and VP of Finance at WebMD. Dorris earned an MBA in Finance and is an honors graduate of Georgia State University with a BBA in Accounting. She resides in Atlanta with her family.

In addition to her 23 years of service and leadership at RaceTrac, Moran currently serves on the Board of Herschend Enterprises and the Advisory Board of Halpern Enterprises while having previously served on the Boards of RaceTrac Petroleum, Quarles Petroleum and the Advisory Board of Hire Dynamics. She also is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Westminster Schools. Moran earned a BA in Psychology from Denison University. She is a Kellogg Scholar at the Kellogg School of Business Management at Northwestern University. She and her husband Crawford live in Atlanta and have two grown daughters, Jorie and Margaret.
